What are the benefits of CBD?When taken orally, CBD tinctures hold great benefits when compared to other CBD products. Our oil drops have a fast onset, because they are taken under the tongue and smeared on the gums. Some effects such as physical and mental relaxation can be almost immediate, other effects can be felt within 30 minutes. With consistent use, our customers experience improved sleep, reduced anxiety, mental and physical relaxation, and less pain. When applied to the skin, CBD Skin has receptor sites for cannabinoids, and seemingly, CBD can communicate to these receptor sites to correct irregularities and start repairing any damage in the skin tissue. This leads to a better overall skin appearance. Recent studies have also shown CBD to be extremely beneficial for people experiencing eczema, psoriasis, acne and more. Head to our blog to read more about CBD improving these conditions!

How should I use a SWISS 1876 CBD oil?Our product comes in a glass bottle and is dispersed via a dropper. We recommend the tincture drops to be taken under the tongue and then smeared on the gums, as the effects can be experienced much faster when absorbed rather than ingested. It is also important to note for best results, wait 10-15 minutes before drinking any liquid.

How much CBD oil should I take?A starting dose for our isolate CBD oil is 0.5mL, but you can increase this by 0.25mL if needed. Our CBD oil drops are administered via a dropper, which provides you with control over intake amount; this could be very helpful when trying to find the correct serving size for you. If it is your first time trying CBD, you can start with a dose as low as 0.25mL.

What makes CBD isolate different & more costly than other CBD?To obtain CBD isolate, it has to be separated from all other substances of the plant. All compounds other than CBD have to be removed from the mixture. This mixture is the so-called “full-spectrum”. “Full-spectrum” CBD is a less pure isolation of CBD, which makes it cheaper as it does not undergo all separation techniques necessary to obtain CBD isolate. Since we are working with a natural product, there are some inherent variabilities. Sometimes the extract may be a little different depending on the batch of biomass used. This makes full spectrum cheaper, CBD isolate has controlled and tested variabilities.
-
Can the intake of CBD products result in a positive drug test?We can assure you our organic isolate CBD oil will not result in a positive drug test because all detectable traces of THC are removed during the manufacturing process. However, with other products or full spectrum oils, this would depend on the amount of THC in the product.

Will I become addicted to CBD?CBD, unlike THC, is not addictive. It does not interact with cells the same way as THC, so you do not continue to build up a tolerance and eventually need to increase dosage. Some evidence even suggests CBD as a potential treatment for addiction. Below are some links to articles that may help further your understanding.
